So Much Has Happened
Wow!!!! So much has happened since my last entry that I don’t know where to even begin. A lot of surprises that is for sure and the majority of them are good!!!! Well, I have been camping for the last two weeks, so that explains some of my long silence.
The first thing that happened is that we bought an RV. My in-laws helped us decide upon this. They have a Monaco 38 foot Signature series which is like the Mac Daddy of RV’s. Well, yes, there are ones that are far better, but that one is very nice. Anyway, we bought a 35 foot National RV Dolphin LX. We love it and have taken several trips with it. Both my wife and I camped as kids since our families had campers. Anyway, a lot of my favorite memories are from when we did camp. So, we agreed that we would give our kids the same great memories as we have.
Then, we gave up hope on selling our home, well; we did after we took it off the market and so we bought a nice house in a gated community. It is so much nicer coming home knowing that you are in a community that watches out for each other. Not only that, but both of the ex’s can not come in without our approval!!! We can meet them at the gate and they have to suffer knowing that there is no way that they can bother us here. Nikki’s ex has been starting his garbage again and I am ready to end this now. With his warrants for his arrest, I can end this now, but I don’t want to do it in front of Kelsey. It just isn’t right for her to watch her father being arrested.
Now, with this new home and RV, we have a kid who wanted nothing to do with us, actually, change her tune and now we are worth spending time with again. Yes, Brittany is coming over again. She claims that it is the safety of the new house and the gated community. I think it has more to do with the fact that she can put all of the bad memories of the other house behind us and now she can try to be part of this family. I do know that she has not wanted to stay at the other house since the whole stupid Dr. Phil thing. Again, I stress, he made us out to look like the bad guys and my ex like the hero. Well, now, she is happy with us again. So, maybe the ghosts have been buried.
Anyway, sorry for my lost entries and for my silence, it has been for a good reason. It is so nice to have a family together, a new house, and the RV. We are planning on going up to New York and Maine next summer with it. We want to work all the bugs out right now so that we know how to use it. I will try to be more diligent with my entries. We are off again next week on another trip, so I will fill you all in upon our return.
