De’ja` Vu

No, I am not French, but this is another installment of “Why Are We Here.” De’Ja` Vu is defined as: describes the experience of feeling that one has witnessed or experienced a new situation previously. The experience of déjà vu is usually accompanied by a compelling sense of familiarity, and also a sense of "eerieness," "strangeness," or "weirdness." The "previous" experience is most frequently attributed to a dream, although in some cases there is a firm sense that the experience "genuinely happened" in the past.

So, why does this happen? Have you ever had this experience in your life? From what I know we all have had this some time in our lives. Maybe it is passing a person and thinking you know them or have seen them before. Could it be that you are at a new place that you have never been before and wow, things seem familiar? Hmmmm, maybe it is the fact that you are doing something that you know that you did another time before, but really haven’t.

Do you remember that entry that I did a while back about having multiple universes? For those of you that don’t, I am intrigued by the fact that what happens when we hit that fork in the road and we turn right. What if in a parallel universe we turn left instead? It seems to me that there could me millions of me’s that are in different places in our life. So, could this partially explain the feeling of De’ja` vu? I wonder.

See, what happens if we did accidentally cross paths in a universe or two. There is proof of a negative universe which helps to explain a great many things. In life, there are two sides to everything. Look at a molecule or even an atom. We have an electron and a proton. Good vs. Evil, Positive and negative, and there are many more opposites.

If we experience this feeling, could we possibly come face to face with ourselves some day? I joke about the mirror with my students, but what if we did cross over into a mirrored or parallel existence? Could we survive this or would we implode? I am no physicist, especially after getting kicked out in college for the projectile lab. LOL Long story there.
