Back at it Again

Okay, it has been a while since I have posted anything. My evenings have been filled with sex (now that I have your attention), intrigue, mystery, etc. I have been reading Dan Brown’s “DaVinci Code.” Yes, I know it is out in the movies, which would be the lazy way out of it, but I enjoy reading it and imagining it before I go have it spoon fed to me.

If you have read the book, don’t spoil it for me, but I am just so engrossed by it all. Yes, I understand this book is a FICTION, so if you are a Christian, don’t have a cow, but it is just so believable. I can understand why people would be questioning their faith and wondering if this is true. Dan Brown has a way of making everything seem so real!!!

I won’t spoil it for any one who hasn’t read it, but wow!!!! The thing of it is when you do look at the painting of the Last Supper, well, I never noticed how feminine the person sitting on the right hand of Jesus is. My grandparents had this painting in their living room as I grew up and I just never saw it. Now, whether you believe the one side of the argument that says this is just the way that they painted teenage males or you truly believe it to be Mary that is up to you. But it is shocking when you look at the painting in depth and see exactly what the book speaks of.

The book just grabs you and pulls you in. It has fast paced action that just doesn’t slow down. So, if you are looking for a good read, you should try some of Mr. Brown’s books. He mainly deals with religion and government cover ups. Of course, these are the main things that I am interested in.

If you have read this book, what do you think? I am not quite to the end as of yet. Langdon and his crew just slipped past the Kent police, so that is where I am. They are back in London looking for the banished Knight.

So, now that I have let you down because I let the sex topic go way side. Pick up this book and read it. Who knows, maybe you will get invited to one of their rituals. ;-) I won’t let anymore out about that. Enjoy!!!!

it was really good. but the ending? well you can decide for yourself. i only wish i had read angels first because it seemed like the same book, only da vinci was better. so i was a little disappointed with angels. in fact i left the last 30 pages or so of angels unfinished...i had just had enough. but da vinci was great...and i heard the movie wasn't so good anyway. books are always better.
if you haven't read In Cold Blood, read that. i love that book.
