Thank You
I was thinking about this last night for the longest time. As we go through life there is always this one person that is with you through thick and thin. The sad thing is they are not always there in person, though, but even though they are miles away, they still have your back.
There is one friend like that in my life that I have known for quite some time and I will not reveal for how long because she would probably kill me. If you have read my previous entries, you know that my life has been plagued with many downs but still there were a lot of ups. Well, this person has been there with me all the way. When ever I needed advice, I always got an answer that I could truly use in my decisions.
The reason I am writing this entry is twofold. The first reason is for all of you to think about that person that would never let you down and to think about whether or not you have ever let them know how much you appreciate them. The second reason is just that, I want a certain person to know how much she is appreciated and to truly thank her for always having my back. I won’t divulge who you are other then the fact, Me, you know who you are.
The past week I have been on vacation with my family up in Minnesota. It is a very secluded cabin so I had a lot of time to truly reflect on my life and who has been there for me. Okay, yes, I had some friends that I thought were close to me when I was in school. Well, I haven’t heard from any of them since I moved to Florida. Yes, it is partly my fault as well because I lost touch with them. I also thought about the people whom I thought were friends that I have had since I moved to Florida. The conclusion that I have come to, which should have been obvious, is that there has only been one person that has been there!!!!
So, Me, I want you to know how special you are and to let you know I have appreciated all the advice, opinions, and help that you have given me through the years. You have been the best friend that anyone could have ever hoped for. Please know that I am so very thankful for all you have done. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!
In closing, take time to thank those that are close to you that you may have never or rarely thanked for their help. I know it isn’t much, but sometimes just hearing the words are enough. There aren’t enough days or thank you’s that I could ever give to this person. So, make sure you let that friend know!!!!

awwww..you are too sweet..right back at you. besides my sibs and lisa you are the oldest friend i have, and for once, thats not an old joke. but what possessed you to vaca in a secluded cabin?
