Back to the Grind

Well, it was back to the old grind for me today. I had to go to work after having two weeks off. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy work, but I am not sure I was ready to go back today.
The nice thing about it was that everyone stopped by to ask me how it went and to welcome me back. It was very nice to have everyone miss me and for them to be so happy I was back. When I took time off from my old school, I never seemed to be missed. Now, at my new school, I did feel that way, but it is nice to be at a part time job and be that respected.
The funny thing about it all is I have only been with this new job for a month. How did I create such a bond with everyone so quickly? It is just odd that there is such a family atmosphere there. Work is nice to come to when you are brought in like a long lost cousin. My boss doesn’t even wear shoes at work, so that is how laid back it is.
